alternative to UV exposure, particularly for people who should
never be exposed to UV light

What’s
the difference between an airbrush and a sunless booth application?
- Precision
- coverage with an airbrush application is more precise
because an operator is carefully applying the solution.
Using a sunless booth, you will see more missed and
improperly applied areas on the skin.
- Responsibility
– with the airbrush application, the operator is fully
responsible for how the solution is applied.
With the sunless booth, the customer watches a short
video on what they need to do while in the booth and if the
customer does something incorrectly while being sprayed in the
booth, they’re responsible.
- Separation
– Separate areas of your body can be individually sprayed
using the airbrush system.
If you only want your face sprayed, we can spray just
your face.
How
long will the color last?

A
sunless application, will last approximately 5 – 7 days.
This will depend on how much you exfoliate while bathing and
how often you shave your legs.

The
sunless application will fade gradually, similar to a UV induced
tan.
So, no you will not go from bronzed to white overnight.
Is
there anything I can do to extend the life of my sunless tan?

The
color will last approximately 5 – 7 days.
However using a good moisturizer is always good for the health of your
skin.

Ask one of our consultants which moisturizer would be appropriate for your
skin type.
Can
I tan either indoors or outdoors after being airbrushed?
Will
the solution stain my clothing?
-
On
the day you are sprayed, wear loose fitting, dark colored clothing.
You may see some residue from the spray on your clothes, but
this will wash out.
It will NOT cause a permanent stain.
You may feel some tackiness on your skin until you
shower or bathe.

What
should I wear when I get sprayed?
-
Our
minimum requirement is a thong-type bikini or
underwear, or
you may wear a bathing suit or bra and panties. Remember, these items of clothing will get some spray
solution on them, but it will wash out.
The operator will make every effort to make you
feel as comfortable as possible.
Will
this make my skin look orange or yellow?
-
No,
you will not turn orange.
The color of your skin after the application is
very similar to the normal color of your skin with a
tan.
The solution contains a coloring ingredient, so
the operator can see where they have applied the
solution. DHA, a chemical that adheres to and works with
your skin cells, causes a natural darkening of the skin
and eurythyelose, which starts to work after the DHA, to
enhance and extend the process.

How
often should I have this done?
-
Typically
a sunless application will last 5-7 days; so you could come in once
a week or every other week.

Since this is a “cosmetic” tan, you can
come in for that shot of color whenever you need to. Special occasion, party, or just because – that’s why
sunless is the perfect solution for people who tan and for those who
don’t.

Before
your sunless application:
- Shower
or bathe the day of the application. Use an exfoliating
scrub, such as Amber Sun Scrub or Sea Coral Salt Scrub by Norvell,
followed by L'Bri Body Wash.
- Shave
your legs, underarms and bikini area, using a mild soap and
avoid products that can leave an oily residue.
- Do NOT wear any moisturizer the day of the sunless
application.
If you walk-in for a full body spray and you have a moisturizer on,
we can not guarantee the results and will not be held responsible.
- If you are wearing make-up, please remove it prior to the
application.
- When you remove your clothing to get ready to be sprayed, use
a baby wipe to remove any deodorant from your underarms.

After
your sunless application:
-
Wash
your hands with soap and water 45 minutes after you have
been sprayed.

No
strenuous exercise. Avoid sweating, it may cause
the application to yellow.

Do
NOT shower or bathe for at least 8-10 hours after being
sprayed. Waiting until the next day is
optimal. Avoid getting wet for at least 4 hours
(Like getting caught in the rain).

Do
NOT swim in chlorinated water, it will bleach out the
application.

the day 1 hour before posted closing time - NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
